T.G.I.F. Spouses' Bowling League!!!  It's a handicap league which means that poor bowlers get spotted pins based on their average to level the playing field with the better bowlers.  We have teams of 3 and follow the regular league rules while not being a sanctioned league (members of the bowling association).  We bowl on Fridays at 9:30 am but not on days that are ADONSAs without school according to the CPSD Calendar.  It costs $8/week and we accept only cash on the first Friday of the month for the whole month (If you need shoes you have to pay the rental fee separately). Prebowling is allowed. Prebowling is when you bowl your games ahead of time because you have a committment on Friday morning.  If you don't arrange for a sub and don't prebowl, you are put in "blind".  That means that your score for each game is 10 pins below your average. 
 

We have potlucks and turkey prizes (when you get a turkey -- 3 strikes in a row -- you pick a prize and then the following week you bring a prize).  Team standings are based on the number of wins or losses.  There are 4 games per week, three games plus total pins (all the scores for the three games).  Cash prizes will be awarded at the end of the league (June) for First Place Team, Best Avg, Most Improved Bowler, High Score, High Series (one day's three games together) and others.
